We are a 501(c)3 business/education public charity. Our VISION is to serve as a launching catalyst to develop independent, interdependent, and interactive skills that grow and empower workers, entrepreneurs, community groups/charities, and new businesses.

Based on our vision, our MISSION is to provide A+ (excellent) learning opportunities, advancement services, member benefits, and partnership networking (LAMP) that promote personal, professional, & organizational self-development & growth practices.

To develop people and organizations we have partnerships, programs, projects, & service packages that each include coaching, training, consulting, resources, assessments, and shared-cost platforms as appropriate. We provide a curated set of included services with each membership level, but also offer these services to non-members at a capped-rate that is partially subsidized by donations, fundraisers, and grants as available.

Current list of community works can be viewed here: https://asquaredlamps.org/who-is-a-squared.

Current list of board of directors (leadership), which is 100% volunteer, can be viewed here: https://asquaredlamps.org/board.

The App and the website are separate.

Anyone can log into the App when they download it. It is free to do so. Your profile, chat, and donation activity can be found and managed there nearly independent of us. All public App pages and chats can be accessed in the App. Post, view, and navigate as much as you like. We reserve the right to remove people from the App if necessary.

Memberships are different. We add website members manually into the App using the same email they used to sign up for the memberships. In doing so, their App experience will generally mirror their website experience in access. For example, all website membership levels will have access to the general discount perks page in both website and App. If the member has a second login, they will not have access to the same member areas in the App when logged in with it.

Exceptions and Rules. Based on your involvement with A-Squared LAMP Groups (eg, volunteer, board, host/cohost, etc), you may have role access to other specified areas in the App. Also, certain website members on the same levels may have different access in the App. For example, only travel level members who are going on our upcoming trip will have access to its chat area. Another example may be that the Build-Your-Own-Community level may be split into access areas for those who opted into the LMS platform versus those who chose the Language platform.

Additionally, anyone who has an on-going recurring donation in the App (monthly or yearly) will have the option of being given access to the member discount benefits once their accumulated donation reaches $150 and continues to remain active. they will need to request it.

EASY!

First, you can log into the APP online from our nonprofit’s website. You can also sign up there if you don’t already have a user profile in the APP.

https://asquaredlamps.org/download-our-app

Second, you can log in directly from any device with the APP’s URL: https://asquaredlamps.net.

First, they are ALIKE in that 100% of the amount is a donation. Your receipts may be used as applicable for tax purposes. Second, both the amounts, cards used, and any other changes can be managed by the member/donor from their own profile portals. Third, the entire amount (less the credit card fees levied) goes directly to our work. Our leadership is 100% volunteer, and any workers are under contract and are paid solely for the verified hours of expertise they provide.

Memberships and Recurring Donations are DIFFERENT in three main ways.

First, they are accessed differently. Memberships can only be registered for on our website and are paid in one specified annual amount for each level that auto-renews. By contrast (though recurring donations have suggested set amounts), recurring donations can only be selected using our App and can be made in any dollar amount that is desired for any length of time in a monthly or yearly beginning and end dates.

Second, they differ in benefits included. Each membership level includes a targeted package of included services that focus on particular development needs. We provide discount perks & bonuses for all members. By contrast, recurring donations fund all of our work, which includes community partnerships, programs, and projects, as well as general fund needs. To see how App users who donate with single or recurring gifts can also receive member benefits, see FAQ on Member Benefits.

Third, how A-Squared LAMP Groups uses the donation is different. Members partially fund their own development and eventually do so in a pay-it-forward scholarship chain. Those who need the most help can get it immediately while sharing in their own development investment. Members who maintain their annual membership for 3-4 years after they receive their initial assistance have full access to get minor help along the way AND they help fund others to get help. They are “paying it forward” as they go and grow. Membership amounts reflect this assumption and are about 25% of what services would cost elsewhere.

Recurring donations from the App and online donations from the website fill in the funding gaps by partially subsidizing our organization’s operations, community investments, and membership services. They empower our nonprofit organization to help as many in need as we can when they cannot afford or access services elsewhere.

Set up your recurring donation by clicking the $ icon at the bottom of the App.

View our membership levels on our website: https://asquaredlamps.org/join

Access them from our website: Log into https://asquaredlamps.org by clicking the person icon at the top right and using the email address you signed up for your membership with. If you need to reset the password, do so. If you do not receive a reset link, email co*****@***********ps.org to manually reset it from the admin area. After logging in, it will default to your profile area as a landing page where you can reset passwords, change credit cards, change memberships, and more. Select “member benefits” from the left side menu to view your benefits and click the links to them.

Access them from the App: Simply select the “member benefits” page from the menu. Only members will be able to view it. On that page, you will see all of your benefits, links, and shortcuts to set up for accessing them.

Load them onto your Smartphone: We highly recommend that you create a folder on your smartphone and have the A2LAMPS App and all of the Apps for each benefit located within it. Your login email address for all of them will be the same and you will be able to access them more easily.

How to get them as a Donor-Member (with development services): Our website memberships all include special targeted development services and access, as well as full member perk benefits. View our website membership levels: https://asquaredlamps.org/join

How to get them as an App User (without development services): Accessing the perk benefits is optional and conditional. It must be requested by email after an App user’s recurring or single App donation amount meets or exceeds $175 in a year. Alternatively, it can also be given to you if you host/cohost a private event-with-a-purpose fundraiser for A-Squared LAMP Groups. (All event hosts receive a one-year wellness membership worth $145 for $25.) View event-with-a-purpose options here: https://asquaredlamps.org/fig_resources.

Obviously, being a charity, all donations and monetary gifts are always needed. We don’t spam or constantly ask for more using dire stories or emotional pleas. We practice appreciation, integrity, and fiscal conservatism. One-time gifts are as important as recurring ones.Thank you. Give in the App by clicking the $ icon at the bottom. Give online as a donation or a designated donation (sponsorship) from our website.
